Quatre Bras!

16th June 1815, Belgian and Dutch troops of Wellington's Army were holding a crossroads called Quatre Bras (four arms) south of Brussels. Marshal Ney was attacking with a large French army and the allies were loosing ground. Wellington had to hold the crossroads or risk being separated from the Prussians. Having marched through the night, Scottish Highland Regiments were arriving on the scene to re-enforce their battered allies. Shoulder high crops filled the fields as they began to form their firing lines. "Lancers!!! Lancers!!!" the cry went up as the French cavalry suddenly appeared out of the tall rye grass and battlefield smoke. Closely behind them thundered the 'Big Brothers', the fierce Cuirassiers in their shining armour intending to smash the crossroads clear of the Allies... what happens next is up to you with Walkerloo Quatre Bras!

Tally-Ho

In the early afternoon, 18th June 1815, on the battlefield of Waterloo 17,000 French infantry advanced in column toward the centre of Wellington's line... Napoleon's 'Grand Batterie' of more than 80 cannons with expert artillery men fired over their heads smashing the Allies with their cannon balls. The attack seemed unstoppable. But behind the thin red Infantry line were a mass of the finest mounted cavalry in Europe. Several thousand British heavy dragoons began to advance... they passed through their infantry comrades and stomped down the slope towards the advancing French columns... what happens next is up to you with Walkerloo Tally-Ho!
