On the 18th of June 1815 over a shallow valley 20 miles south of Brussels more than 200,000 soldiers met in battle to decide the fate of europe. Along one side of a valley was Arthur Wellsley (famously known as the Duke of Wellington) commanding a mixed allied army of Dutch, Belgain, German and British troops. Opposite was a French army lead by Napoleon Bonaparte returned emperor of the French. Napoleon had more cannon and men but had to act fast to beat Wellington because a third army of Prussians lead by marshal Blucher was near by and coming to Wellingtons aid. The Walkerloo full collection has 180 figures in 88 different poses plus six elastic band firing cannons. Thats 10 different regiments rich in historic detail who all fought at Waterloo. Its an original floof filling extravaganza! On the 18th of June 1815 over a shallow valley 20 miles south of Brussels more than 200,000 soldiers met in battle to decide the fate of europe.
